PC & Gaming Guide

Set Up a Gaming Monitor for a Clear, Smooth Picture

Configure a new gaming monitor, its connection and display settings for a reliable desktop experience.

Use the right connection

For a desktop with a dedicated graphics card, connect the display to the graphics card. Verify the cable and port support your target resolution and refresh rate.

Set resolution and refresh

Choose the panel's native resolution and select its supported refresh rate in system settings. Enable adaptive sync if supported by both display and graphics hardware.

Tune position and picture

Place the screen at a comfortable distance and reduce reflections. Start with a neutral picture mode and adjust brightness for room lighting. Aggressive overdrive can create inverse ghosting.
